산, 물 그리고 흔적

대양

나는 내 배가

거대한 것에 

부딪혀, 저기 깊은 곳에 가라앉는다는

생각이 든다.

          그리고 아무것도

일어나지 않았다! 아무것도 ... 침묵... 물결들...

      -- 아무것도 일어나지 않았을까? 아니면 모든 것이 이미 일어났을까,

그리고 우리는 지금 서있는 것일까, 고요히, 새로운 생명 속에?

I have a feeling that my boat

has struck, down there in the depths,

against a great thing.

             And nothing

happens! Nothing...Silence...Waves...

    --Nothing happens? Or has everything happened,

and are we standing now, quietly, in the new life?
